Jim Dietz has spent his life in schools and education as well as within the business of board-games. Dietz has taught at the four-year college level (Eastern Illinois University); the two-year college level (Allen Community College; Parkland College); and the secondary level (St. Anthony High School and two years as a substitute teacher). In terms of games, Dietz owned two game stores in Illinois before starting Jolly Roger Games, running that from 1996-2015.
In addition to managing a game company and teaching, Dietz is an award-winning volleyball coach and writer. He has written several novels and two books on coaching youth sports.
